Steps of Navgrah Shanti Puja:
First of all, horoscope of individual must be analyzed and based on that Mahurat of Navagrah Shanti Puja will be decided. Then Navgrah Shanti Puja – Rituals should be started at exact time with Sankalp of individual for whom Puja is to be performed. Then further rituals are followed in sequence which includes Kalash Sthapana, Panchang Sthapana which includes Gauri Ganesh, Punyavachan, Shodash Matrika, Navgraha, Sarvotabhadra, then Pujan Chhetrapal of all direction, Chatukashti yogini Pujan, Swasti Vachan, Navgraha Yantra and celestial Idols Puja, Ganesh Pujan and Abhishek, Invocation of all Lords in Kalash, Punyaha Vachan, Brahman Varn, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Ashtottara Namavali Path, Navgrah (All Nine Planets) Chalisa path, Chanting of respective planetary mantra of all nine planets, followed by ahuti, Aarti, Pushpaanjali, Prasad distribution and donation to needy people.
In Homam several Samagri like Ghee, Sugar, Til, Oats ( Jow ), Ashtagandh, Sandalwood powder are used and in various pujan Turmeric powder, Kumkum, Sandalwood Paste, Incense sticks, Camphor, Flowers, Fruits, Coconuts, Rice, Kalasa Vastram, Honey, Naivedyam any sweet, Navadhanya – Wheat, Rice,Thoor Dal, Moong Dal, Chana Dal, Rajma (White), Sesame, Vastram – Red cloth 2, White cloth 2, Yellow cloth 1, Green cloth 1, Blue cloth 1, Black cloth 1 for sthapan, Deepam, Oil, Match box, Cotton Wicks, Kalasam 1, Panchapatra etc. are used.
